What is a wheel riser?

A wheel riser is a piece of dock equipment that elevates the wheels of trucks and semi-trailers above the loading dock for efficient loading and unloading of freight.  They eliminated unsafe below dock loading conditions.

Aluminum and Steel Wheel Risers

Our Wheel Risers are manufactured from heavy duty aluminum tread plate for positive traction. It has welded all aluminum construction with 30,000 pound capacity per pair. They are designed to raise the trailer for loading and unloading to facilitate compliance with OSHA.

The ramp design can be stacked for compact storage when not in use, the build it fork pockets also allow movement with a fork truck. The riser has an incline of 18 degrees and material thickness of ¼”. 18 and 24 inch widths are both available.

Options available with the aluminum wheel riser include caster kit, cart, and hook on riser cart. Hook on riser cart should be ordered one per set of risers.
