Foundationless Jib Cranes are a popular option for customers who have an existing concrete floor. This is often times a convenient and great alternative to a traditional jib crane.                 For jib crane assembly, existing concrete must be a minimum of 12” thick reinforced with minimum 3,000 psi. Soil pressure must support 2,500 psf. Concrete in and around the area must be in good condition with no cracks. Anchors must have an embedment of at least 10”. Grout is highly recommended under the base plate to level the mast. Be sure to regularly inspect jib cranes for safety. 

Popular options for foundationless jib cranes include tagline kits, rotation stops, top entry electrical collector, motorized rotation, outdoor and stainless-steel models, and hoists and trolleys. Cranes are shipped via LTL- Common carrier if able to be palletized. In cases when they are not palletized, they are shipped via Flat Bed. Different colors are also available for cranes.

Let’s get into different kinds of foundationless cranes. We have standard, workstation, and semi-articulating cranes. Medium duty version has a 500-pound capacity.

The standard medium duty model has a 28” diameter base and 24” bolt circle. 8 holes are 1 ¼” diameter. It can be bolted on most concrete surface and makes a great addition to a loading dock.

The workstation version can be bolted on most concrete surface and is perfect for assembly stations. It comes with an enclosed track and trolley. The product offers a full 360-degree rotation.

                The semi-articulating model also has a full 360-degree rotation. The knuckle boom with hoist eye gives operator ability to reach inside machines with covers. The jib crane mounts to 6 inch reinforced floor.
